Permanent Residency Policy
HFH Mercer County is legally bound by the Laws of the United States Government; therefore, no applications will be accepted by the Family Selection Committee from illegal residents.
Residency Preference Policy
All legal residents of the United States will be considered for a house in the Family Selection process. However, since there are other Habitat affiliates in the surrounding areas (counties, cities, etc.), preference will be given to the families that reside in Mercer County. An applicant from another area will be considered, but preference shall be given to a Mercer County resident that meets the HFH Mercer County criteria.
